At Withers Tsang we have found that business’s that create and execute a sound strategic plan are generally far more successful that those that do not.

We have worked with a variety of clients across a number of industries as well as non profit entities assisting them in their strategic planning process or assisting in finding solutions at a strategic level to one off problems faced by their businesses.

Simplifying the strategic planning process has been the focus of Withers Tsang for some time. This is because too many businesses get caught up in the process and end up over analysing data and producing a strategic plan that is unrealistic to implement given their current resources.

At a minimum, a well developed strategic plan:

• Establishes clear goals, objectives and strategies
• Defines a strategy that allows the business to gain competitive advantages and enhance sales and profits
• Removes uncertainty about where the business is headed
• Provides clear director and focus for all employees
• Points to specific results that are to be achieved
• Defines specific action items and establishes an action for effective implementation

Strategic planning does not end once the plan is put on paper. Once developed, the key to making the plan work is a commitment to seeing it through coupled with sound implementation.
